Job summary

Magenta Care LLC in Everett, WA is seeking a dedicated home infusion RN to deliver exceptional patient care in patients' homes. You will assess, plan, and coordinate care, working with physicians and the care team to ensure safe infusion therapy and patient comfort.

This role requires an active WA RN license, 1 year infusion/ER/ICU experience, strong IV skills, CPR/BLS, and a valid WA driver's license with reliable transportation; travel is required.

Qualifications

• Valid WA RN license or Multistate (Compact) license.
• Minimum 1 year RN experience (Infusion, ER, ICU).
• Excellent IV insertion skills.
• CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Current WA Driver's license with proof of insurability; reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care within the RN scope of practice.
• Assess, diagnose, plan, implement and evaluate patient care with family involvement.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team to plan care.
• Facilitate start of care through admission process.
• Act as patient advocate ensuring rights and safety.
• Communicate changes in patient condition promptly to team and physicians.
• Deliver nursing care to home health patients per standards and policies.
• Educate patients and families on infusion therapy management and self-care.

Job description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced home infusion RN who is passionate about delivering exceptional patient care. The successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills, empathy, and a strong commitment to maintaining patient privacy and dignity. The primary location for this position will be in Everett, Washington, with the requirement to travel up to one to two hours outside of Everett to serve our clients.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care, practicing within the scope of the registered nurse practice act.
• Continuously assess, use nursing diagnosis, implement, plan, and evaluate patient care, actively involving patients and their families in the process.
• Collaborate with physicians and other interdisciplinary team members to develop a comprehensive plan of care that addresses the unique needs of each patient and their family.
• Facilitate patient start of care through the admission process.
• Act as a patient advocate, ensuring their rights, preferences, and safety are upheld.
• Document and effectively communicate any changes in the patient's condition promptly to team members, the Director of Clinical Services, and the physician.
• Provide nursing care to home health patients, adhering to established standards of care and following agency policies and procedures.
• Educate patients and their families on infusion therapy management, potential side effects, and self-care practices

Requirements:

• Valid WA Registered Nurse (RN) license Or Multistate RN License (Compact).
• Minimum of 1 year of recent RN experience (Infusion, ER, ICU).
• Excellent IV insertion skills.
• Healthcare provider CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Current Washington state Driver's license with proof of insurability.
• Reliable transportation
