Job summary

Magenta Care LLC is seeking a dedicated home infusion RN to deliver exceptional patient care in Yakima, WA. The primary location is Yakima, with travel up to one to two hours outside the city.

You will provide direct patient care, educate patients and families on infusion therapy, and collaborate with physicians to develop and adjust comprehensive care plans for each patient. Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care, within the RN scope.
• Continuously assess, plan, and evaluate patient care, with involvement of patients and families.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team to develop a care plan.
• Facilitate start of care through admission.
• Advocate for patient rights, preferences, and safety.
• Document changes in condition and communicate with team and physicians.
• Provide nursing care to home health patients adhering to standards and agency policies.
• Educate patients and families on infusion therapy management, side effects, and self-care.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care, practicing within the scope of the registered nurse practice act.
• Continuously assess, use nursing diagnosis, implement, plan, and evaluate patient care, actively involving patients and their families in the process.
• Collaborate with physicians and other interdisciplinary team members to develop a comprehensive plan of care that addresses the unique needs of each patient and their family.
• Facilitate patient start of care through the admission process.
• Act as a patient advocate, ensuring their rights, preferences, and safety are upheld.
• Document and effectively communicate any changes in the patient's condition promptly to team members, the Director of Clinical Services, and the physician.
• Provide nursing care to home health patients, adhering to established standards of care and following agency policies and procedures.
• Educate patients and their families on infusion therapy management, potential side effects, and self-care practices

Requirements

• Valid WA Registered Nurse (RN) license Or Multistate RN License (Compact).
• Minimum of 1 year of recent RN experience (Infusion, ER, ICU).
• Excellent IV insertion skills.
• Healthcare provider CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Current Washington state Driver's license with proof of insurability.
• Reliable transportation
