Job summary

Magenta Care LLC is seeking a dedicated Home Infusion RN for the Olympia, Washington area. The role involves delivering direct patient care in patients' homes, with travel to nearby communities as needed.

You will coordinate with physicians and a care team to implement comprehensive, compassionate infusion therapy plans. Ideal candidates hold a WA RN license (or Compact), have at least 1 year of infusion/ER/ICU experience, and possess IV skills, BLS/CPR, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Valid WA RN license or Multistate (Compact) license.
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience (Infusion, ER, ICU).
• Excellent IV insertion skills.
• CPR and BLS certification current.
• Current WA driver’s license and insurability.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care per RN scope in home infusion.
• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate care with patient/family involvement.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team on care plan.
• Facilitate start of care through admission process.
• Advocate for patient rights, preferences and safety.
• Document changes and communicate with team and physicians promptly.
• Deliver nursing care in home health following standards and policies.
• Educate patients and families on infusion therapy and self-care.

The primary location for this position will be in Olympia, Washington, with the requirement to travel up to one to two hours outside of Olympia to serve our clients.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care, practicing within the scope of the registered nurse practice act.
• Continuously assess, use nursing diagnosis, implement, plan, and evaluate patient care, actively involving patients and their families in the process.
• Collaborate with physicians and other interdisciplinary team members to develop a comprehensive plan of care that addresses the unique needs of each patient and their family.
• Facilitate patient start of care through the admission process.
• Act as a patient advocate, ensuring their rights, preferences, and safety are upheld.
• Document and effectively communicate any changes in the patient's condition promptly to team members, the Director of Clinical Services, and the physician.
• Provide nursing care to home health patients, adhering to established standards of care and following agency policies and procedures.
• Educate patients and their families on infusion therapy management, potential side effects, and self-care practices.

Requirements

• Valid WA Registered Nurse (RN) license Or Multistate RN License (Compact).
• Minimum of 1 year of recent RN experience (Infusion, ER, ICU).
• Excellent IV insertion skills.
• Healthcare provider CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Current Washington state Driver's license with proof of insurability.
• Reliable transportation
