Job summary

Magenta Care LLC is seeking a dedicated Home Infusion RN to deliver high-quality care to patients in the Tacoma, WA area. The role includes direct nursing care, patient education, and collaboration with physicians to optimize treatment plans.

The position requires valid WA RN license, 1 year of relevant RN experience (Infusion/ER/ICU), and reliable transportation. Candidates must have CPR/BLS and a valid driver's license for local travel and patient visits.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care within RN scope of practice.
• Assess, diagnose, plan, implement and evaluate patient care with families involved.
• Collaborate with physicians and team to develop care plans.
• Facilitate start of care during admission process.
• Advocate for patient rights, preferences, and safety.
• Document changes and communicate with the team and physician promptly.
• Deliver home infusion nursing care following standards and policies.
• Educate patients and families on infusion therapy management and self-care.

Job description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced home infusion RN who is passionate about delivering exceptional patient care. The primary location for this position will be in Tacoma, Washington, with the requirement to travel up to one to two hours outside of Tacoma to serve our clients.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care, practicing within the scope of the registered nurse practice act.
• Continuously assess, use nursing diagnosis, implement, plan, and evaluate patient care, actively involving patients and their families in the process.
• Collaborate with physicians and other interdisciplinary team members to develop a comprehensive plan of care that addresses the unique needs of each patient and their family.
• Facilitate patient start of care through the admission process.
• Act as a patient advocate, ensuring their rights, preferences, and safety are upheld.
• Document and effectively communicate any changes in the patient's condition promptly to team members, the Director of Clinical Services, and the physician.
• Provide nursing care to home health patients, adhering to established standards of care and following agency policies and procedures.
• Educate patients and their families on infusion therapy management, potential side effects, and self-care practices.

Requirements

• Valid WA Registered Nurse (RN) license Or Multistate RN License (Compact).
• Minimum of 1 year of recent RN experience (Infusion, ER, ICU).
• Excellent IV insertion skills.
• Healthcare provider CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Current Driver's license with proof of insurability.
• Reliable transportation.
