Job summary

Magenta Care LLC is seeking a dedicated home infusion RN to deliver exceptional patient care in the Vancouver, Washington area. You will provide direct patient care at patients' homes, assess needs, and collaborate with physicians and the care team to develop and revise plans of care.

The role requires travel up to one to two hours outside Vancouver, strong IV skills, CPR/BLS certification, and a valid WA RN license. Biweekly direct deposit pay, travel pay, and a referral bonus are offered.

Qualifications

• Active WA RN license or Multistate license (Compact) required.
• Minimum of 1 year RN experience (Infusion, ER, ICU).
• Excellent IV insertion skills.
• CPR and BLS certification required.
• Valid Washington driver's license with proof of insurability.
• Reliable transportation to travel to client sites.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in home infusion setting.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care with family involvement.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team to develop plans of care.
• Facilitate start of care through admission process.
• Advocate for patient rights, preferences, and safety.
• Communicate changes in patient condition to team and physicians.
• Educate patients and families on infusion therapy management and self-care.

The primary location for this position will be in Vancouver, Washington, with the requirement to travel up to one to two hours outside of Vancouver to serve our clients.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care, practicing within the scope of the registered nurse practice act.
• Continuously assess, use nursing diagnosis, implement, plan, and evaluate patient care, actively involving patients and their families in the process.
• Collaborate with physicians and other interdisciplinary team members to develop a comprehensive plan of care that addresses the unique needs of each patient and their family.
• Facilitate patient start of care through the admission process.
• Act as a patient advocate, ensuring their rights, preferences, and safety are upheld.
• Document and effectively communicate any changes in the patient's condition promptly to team members, the Director of Clinical Services, and the physician.
• Provide nursing care to home health patients, adhering to established standards of care and following agency policies and procedures.
• Educate patients and their families on infusion therapy management, potential side effects, and self-care practices

Requirements

• Valid WA Registered Nurse (RN) license Or Multistate RN License (Compact).
• Minimum of 1 year of recent RN experience (Infusion, ER, ICU).
• Excellent IV insertion skills.
• Healthcare provider CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Current Washington state Driver's license with proof of insurability.
• Reliable transportation
