Job summary

Hope Christian Services is seeking a Nurse - Full-Time RN to supervise and coordinate resident care. You will administer medications, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and ensure residents receive high-quality care in a group-home setting.

Qualified candidates have a nursing degree and NJ RN license; 1–2 years with IDD preferred. Full-time role with benefits, sign-on, and flexible scheduling options available.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing school or college.
• Experience: 1-2 years with intellectual and developmental disabilities (preferred).
• Skills: Proficient with medical equipment like sphygmomanometers, oximeters, glucometers; capable of G-tube care, oxygen, and CPR.
• License: New Jersey RN license in good standing.
• Physical: Lift up to 35 lbs; assist in 2-person lift with a Hoyer lift.
• Background checks and drug testing as required.

Responsibilities

• Medication administration and documenting effects.
• Identify health changes and report to Nursing Director; provide treatments and maintain health records.
• Resident advocacy and supervision of Direct Support Professionals during care.
• Maintain smooth operations, supplies, and shift communication; assist with ordering medications.
