Job summary

ICL in Brooklyn, NY is seeking a Registered Nurse (IDD Residential Programs) to provide comprehensive nursing services for residents in IDD programs. You will assess healthcare needs, coordinate care with interdisciplinary teams, supervise medication administration, and ensure regulatory compliance while supporting health promotion activities.

The role requires an NY RN license, at least an associate degree in nursing (BSN preferred) and will involve on-site coverage with travel to multiple

Qualifications

Associate's Degree or BSN from an accredited nursing program.
New York State Registered Nurse licensure required.

Responsibilities

Clinical Nursing Care: complete nursing assessments, monitor health status, provide health teaching and crisis intervention, coordinate with physicians and interdisiplinary teams.
Medication Management: oversee administration, conduct audits, maintain MARs and ensure controlled substances are properly accounted for.
Medical Coordination: schedule appointments, follow up on treatment plans, ensure timely documentation and communication with residents, families, and providers.
Staff Training and Support: AMAP refresher trainings, staff nursing procedures, supervision of medication administration practicums and infection control guidance.
Compliance and Quality Assurance: participate in quality improvement, ensure regulatory compliance, monitor infection control and maintain timely clinical documentation.
