Job summary

Caregiver is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to provide person-centered care for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). The RN will blend hands-on nursing with care coordination, advocacy, and clinical oversight to support health, safety, and quality of life.

The role includes direct nursing care, development of individualized care plans with interdisciplinary teams, and staff training to ensure high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Active RN license (multi-state preferred).
• ASN or BSN from an accredited nursing program.
• At least 1 year of clinical nursing experience.
• Experience with IDD or long-term care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care including assessments and treatments.
• Develop individualized care plans with interdisciplinary teams.
• Monitor health status and respond to changes with appropriate interventions.
• Provide clinical oversight to LPNs/LVNs and care staff.
• Train staff and caregivers on health-related topics.
• Ensure accurate documentation and medication management.
• Coordinate care with providers, pharmacies, and partners.
• Participate in care reviews and service planning.
• Support compliance with healthcare regulations and quality standards.

Requirements

What You’ll Bring

• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
