Job summary

We are hiring for an IDD Nurse (RN) at 00 RHA Health Services, LLC. This Regular position provides oversight and general nursing care to people with disabilities in residential homes, vocational centers, or schools, reporting to the Regional Nursing Director.

The role requires RN licensure, CPR, and strong communication with the interdisciplinary team. It involves on-site clinics, training staff, and ensuring high-quality health support across multiple locations.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited registered nurse program.
• BSN preferred, but not required.
• Current registered nurse license with no restrictions to practice nursing.
• Must possess credentials required by Federal or State law.
• Must be able to communicate effectively with Interdisciplinary Team Members, as well as the people supported and their families.
• Must be able to work independently, be organized, and possess the ability to prioritize work tasks.
• Current CPR Certification or eligibility to obtain certification.
• Must be at least 18 years of age

Responsibilities

• Provide holistic nursing care to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
• Observe, assess, and evaluate the health needs of the people we support.
• Coordinate preventative and routine medical care for people supported.
• Document nursing care provided.
• Provide clinical supervision or oversight for licensed practical nurses and med techs as deemed necessary.
• Assist with educational and training programs for new employees to include planning, conducting, and scheduling in a timely manner.
• Participate in on-call rotations to provide nursing support and address needs outside of regular scheduled hours.
