Job summary

ICL is seeking an IDD Registered Nurse (RN) for a residential, onsite role in New York. The RN will provide comprehensive nursing services, medication management, and care coordination for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, participating in assessment, treatment planning, and interdisciplinary collaboration.

Qualifications include NYS RN license and registration, plus 1+ year post-licensure experience preferred.

Qualifications

• New York State License and current registration to practice as an RN.
• At least one year of post-licensure clinical nursing experience preferred.
• Current NYS RN licensure and registration required.
• Work authorization to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Participate in pre-admission evaluations and treatment planning.
• Prepare and evaluate nursing intervention plans aligned with treatment plans.
• Develop holistic nursing assessments addressing medical, psychological, social, and developmental needs.
• Oversee implementation of nursing care and modify plans as needed.
• Coordinate nursing services with interdisciplinary team members.
• Provide on-call support and flexible shift coverage.
• Maintain detailed medical records including treatments, meds, vital signs, and observations.
• Perform duties specific to Residential Nursing in IDD, including appointment coordination and staff training.
