Job summary

Piedmont Eastside—Snellville, GA, is seeking an Emergency Department Flow Coordinator (RN) for a full-time days shift. The role leads patient flow, coordinates with MDs, and acts as a liaison to ensure timely dispositions in a busy 11-bed ED.

Ideal candidates hold an RN with BLS/ACLS/PALS and have strong leadership and communication skills to manage staff and improve throughput in a high-acuity environment.

• Demonstrated clinical knowledge to evaluate and prioritize patient flow issues.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and coordinate multiple departments.

Responsibilities

• Direct all team members on prioritization and patient flow.
• Coordinate with physicians and other providers to ensure smooth care delivery.
• Monitor room availability, admissions, transfers and throughput.
