Job summary

Piedmont Eastside Emergency Department is seeking an experienced RN to serve as an Emergency Dept Flow Coordinator. This full-time daylight role involves directing ED patient flow, coordinating with MDs and other departments, and ensuring efficient admissions and transfers at the South Campus and Snellville locations.

Qualified candidates will have RN licensure, BLS/ACLS/PALS/NIHSS certifications, and ED leadership skills.

Qualifications

• RN licensure required.
• BLS/ACLS/PALS/NIHSS certifications listed in ad.
• BSN preferred per qualifications section.

Responsibilities

• Direct prioritization and patient flow for ED team.
• Serve as single point of contact for physicians, coordinating with other providers.
• Coordinate with Bed Control and other departments for patient placement.
• Monitor room availability, orders, and procedures; ensure timely disposition.
• Lead triage priority setting and EMS patient prioritization.
