Job summary

Piedmont Eastside – Snellville, GA is seeking an Emergency Dept Flow Coordinator who is a Registered Nurse. This full-time role focuses on directing patient flow, coordinating with MDs, and maintaining efficient ED operations in a busy 11-bed department.

The coordinator collaborates with Lab, Imaging, Pharmacy and Bed Control to optimize throughput, triage EMS patients, and ensure timely disposition decisions.

Qualifications

• Current RN license and active clinical practice in emergency care.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS certifications required; TNCC/ENPC/CEN/CPEN preferred.
• Ability to lead patient flow and coordinate interdisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Direct prioritization and patient flow within the ED and act as liaison to MDs.
• Coordinate with Mission Control for patient placement and bed availability.
• Monitor room turnover, orders, and disposition readiness; coordinate with labs, imaging, and pharmacy.
• Oversee ED pods, track data, and manage staffing decisions for patient care.
