Job summary

Piedmont Healthcare is seeking an Emergency Dept Flow Coordinator and Registered Nurse for the South Campus Emergency Department at Piedmont Eastside—Snellville, GA. This full-time day position supports patient flow, triage, and coordination of ED operations in a busy 11-bed setting.

The role requires active RN licensure, BLS/ACLS/PALS/NIHSS, and ED experience. The individual will lead with strong communication and problem-solving skills to maintain efficient, safe patient care.

Qualifications

• RN license and active state nursing license.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS required.
• Stroke care knowledge and education.
• 1 year of Emergency Department experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Directs patient flow and prioritization in the ED.
• Liaisons with MDs and other providers to minimize interruptions.
• Coordinate with Bed Control and other departments for admissions/transfer.
• Monitor room turnover and tracking board; ensure data accuracy.
• Provide clinical care as needed and support ED protocols.
• Participate in triage and EMS patient prioritization.
