Job summary

Piedmont Eastside-Snellville, GA seeks an Emergency Dept Flow Coordinator and Registered Nurse for full-time day shifts in the South Campus Emergency Department. The role focuses on directing patient flow, coordinating with physicians and staff, and ensuring timely disposition.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in GA required.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS certifications required.
• ED nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Directs all team members to prioritize patients and manage flow.
• Acts as single point of contact for MDs, minimizing interruptions.
• Coordinates patient placement with Mission Control and bed availability.
• Monitors room turnover and ensures timely dispositions.
• Ensures orders, collections and procedures are coordinated.
• Notifies physicians when a patient is ready for disposition.
