Job summary

MetroHealth is seeking an experienced RN for the Critical Care Step Down Unit 7 West in Ohio. You will provide skilled nursing care on a 24-bed unit with a 5:1 patient ratio, performing EKG interpretation and central line care while supporting ventilator needs.

Ideal candidates hold an Ohio RN license, BLS and ACLS; BSN is preferred. The role collaborates with PCNAs, interns, providers, PT and OT, and includes rotating weekends/holidays and a sign-on bonus program.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current Ohio RN licensure.
• AHA BLS certification required or obtained within 90 days of hire.
• ACLS certification required or obtained within 6 months of hire.
• BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide care on the Critical Care Step-Down Unit 7 West with 24 beds.
• Utilize EKG interpretation, central line care and ventilator support.
• Collaborate with PCNAs, interns, providers, PT and OT.
• Assist with bedside procedures (endoscopies, bronchoscopies).
• Demonstrate critical thinking, delegation and time management.
