Job summary

MetroHealth in Ohio is seeking an experienced RN for the Critical Care Step-Down Unit (7 West). The role includes 72 Bi-Weekly hours, 12-hour shifts (7a-7p/7p-7a) with rotating weekends and holidays, to deliver high-acuity cardiac and critical care nursing.

The ideal candidate will have ACLS/BLS, strong critical thinking, and ability to coordinate with PCNAs, interns, and providers to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current Ohio RN licensure.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers required; ACLS within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Provide care to CCU/step-down patients in 7 West.
• Collaborate with PCNAs, interns, providers, PT and OT.
• Monitor cardiac telemetry and support ICU-level care.
• Assist with bedside procedures as needed.
