Job summary

Mercy is seeking a Clinical Supervisor (RN) to oversee evenings and nights in a full-time role. The position requires a graduate of an accredited nursing program and an active RN license, with 3-5 years of hospital nursing experience. Certifications such as TNCC, ACLS, ENPC or PALS are preferred.

Responsibilities include staffing units, coordinating patient flow, mentoring staff, and ensuring adherence to Mercy standards. Mercy emphasizes compassionate care and professional development.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Nursing program.
• Current RN license with the Board of Nursing in the applicable State of practice.
• 3-5 years of hospital nursing experience.
• American Heart Association Healthcare Provider card or complete a course within probation period (TNCC, ACLS and ENPC or PALS).
• Demonstrates skills in human relations and communication, written verbal, and electronic.
• Preferred Education: Bachelor's degree in Nursing.

Responsibilities

• Assures delivery of safe, high-quality and cost-effective care.
• Ensures units are staffed to provide patient care.
• Involved in patient flow and bed management with Staffing Office.
• Leads by example, mentors, and guides staff to promote change.
• Evaluates process with Clinical Manager as directed.
