Job summary

Mercy is seeking a Clinical Supervisor to oversee evening and night shift nursing operations. The role emphasizes safe, high-quality, cost-effective care, staffing adequacy, and collaboration with physicians and administration to optimize patient flow and bed management.

You will model professional standards, mentor staff, and lead change initiatives while aligning with Mercy’s mission and values. RN licensure and 3–5 years in hospital nursing are required; a BSN is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Nursing program.
• Current RN license with the Board of Nursing in the applicable State of practice.
• 3-5 years of hospital nursing experience.
• American Heart Association Healthcare Provider card or completion within probation period; TNCC, ACLS and ENPC or PALS.

Responsibilities

• Ensure units are appropriately staffed to provide patient care.
• Collaborate with physicians and administrative staff to improve processes and patient flow.
• Lead and mentor nursing staff to uphold professional standards and Mercy Service Standards.
• Monitor patient care delivery and ensure safety and quality in line with mission and values.
• Engage in evaluation processes with Clinical Manager as directed.
