Job summary

Mercy is seeking an experienced RN Supervisor for evenings and nights to assure safe, high-quality care within a high-performing hospital unit. The role collaborates with nursing staff, physicians, and administrative colleagues to optimize patient flow, bed management, and resource utilization in support of Mercy’s mission and standards.

The ideal candidate holds an RN license in good standing, 3–5 years of hospital nursing experience, and a BSN is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Nursing program.
• Current RN license with the Board of Nursing in the applicable State of practice.
• 3-5 years of hospital nursing experience.
• TNCC, ACLS and ENPC or PALS.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assures delivery of safe, high-quality and cost-effective care in collaboration with co-workers and leadership.
• Ensures units are appropriately staffed to provide patient care.
• Involved in patient flow and bed management issues with Staffing Office.
• Leads and mentors staff, promoting change and professional development.
• Participates in evaluation processes with the Clinical Manager per Mercy standards.
