Qualifications

• Minimum of an associate degree in nursing or a diploma in nursing.
• BSN in progress and/or planned within three years of hire.
• Six months of relevant nursing experience or participation in the Hackensack Meridian Health Nurse Residency Program.
• Ability to learn quickly, adapt to changing patient needs, accountability, teamwork, and commitment to ongoing education.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care as part of an interdisciplinary team.
• Coordinate patient care and unit activities with nurses, physicians and support staff.
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care using evidence-based practices.
• Document care and communicate status to patient/family and health-care team.
