Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health in New Jersey seeks a Registered Nurse to deliver direct patient care within a multidisciplinary team. The role focuses on applying current nursing knowledge to achieve optimal patient outcomes and coordinating care across physicians, techs, and support staff.

Qualified candidates will have an associate degree or nursing diploma, BSN in progress preferred, and at least six months of nursing experience or participation in our Nurse Residency Program.

Qualifications

• Must have six (6) or more months of relevant nursing experience OR must be an active participant with Hackensack Meridian Health's Nurse Residency Program.
• Current RN license to work at the assigned HMH location by date of hire.
• BLS/CPR certification by American Heart Association within 60 days of hire.
• BSN in progress or willing to acquire within three years of hire.

Responsibilities

• Expand knowledge and clinical skills; provide effective direct care as part of the interdisciplinary team.
• Direct and oversee care provided by other caregivers through delegation, validation, evaluation, and coordination.
• Coordinate patient care and unit activities among nursing peers, physicians and support services.
