Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide direct patient care and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for a specific patient population, while ensuring safe medication administration and high-quality outcomes.

This role requires an active RN license in New Jersey, BLS/CPR certification, and either 6+ months of nursing experience or participation in the Nurse Residency Program.

Qualifications

• RN license required to work in NJ.
• BSN within 3 years of hire or as required by policy.
• 6+ months nursing experience or participate in Nurse Residency Program.

Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care per evidence-based policies and standards.
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care.
• Coordinate care with interdisciplinary team and family.
• Document care and patient status in electronic records.
• Administer medications using bar-scanning and documentation tools.
• Support discharge planning and safe transitions of care.
