Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our New Jersey team. You will provide direct patient care within an interdisciplinary group, uphold evidence-based practices, and coordinate care to ensure safe, high-quality outcomes.

Ideal candidates hold an associate degree or nursing diploma, with BSN in progress preferred, and have six months of nursing experience or completion of a Nurse Residency program.

Qualifications

• A minimum of an associate in Nursing or diploma of Nursing degree.
• BSN in progress and/or willing to acquire within three years of hire.
• Six months of nursing experience or active participation in Hackensack Meridian Health's Nurse Residency Program.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient health and develop an individualized plan of care.
• Perform age- and disease-specific assessments and document findings.
• Coordinate care with physicians, nurses and support staff to ensure safety.
• Administer medications and monitor patient responses.
• Provide patient/family education and discharge planning.
• Maintain compliance with nursing policies and evidence-based standards.
• Participate in continuous education and certification requirements.
