Qualifications

• Must have current and valid Registered Nurse license to work at the assigned HMH location by date of hire.
• BLS/CPR certification required within 60 days of hire.
• Six months of relevant nursing experience OR active participation in Hackensack Meridian Health's Nurse Residency Program.
• Ability to learn quickly, accountability for improving patients' lives, strong teamwork, and commitment to ongoing education.

Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care according to evidence-based policies, standards of care, and departmental protocols.
• Coordinate patient care with physicians, other nurses, and support services.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care; document findings and care plans.
• Provide patient and family education and support; ensure understanding and informed consent.
• Administer medications following safety protocols and use bar-scanning/documentation technologies.
• Support safe patient transitions with multi-disciplinary discharge planning.
