Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide direct patient care within a multidisciplinary team. The role focuses on expanding knowledge, coordinating patient care, and ensuring safe, high-quality delivery of care in alignment with evidence-based standards.

The position requires a BSN in progress or completion within three years, at least six months of nursing experience (or Nurse Residency participation), and NJ licensure with BLS.

Qualifications

• BSN in progress and/or willing to acquire within three years of hire.
• Six (6) months of relevant nursing experience OR active participation in Nurse Residency Program.
• Ability to learn quickly, adapt to changing patient needs, strong teamwork, and patient-focused care.

Responsibilities

• Collects comprehensive data pertinent to the patient's health or the situation.
• Performs age and disease specific assessment / data collection independently.
• Recognizes clinical and diagnostic status changes in patient status.
• Identifies education needs based on age, disease, and learning differences.
• Develops a plan of care with strategies to attain outcomes.
• Communicates and coordinates the plan of care with the health care team.
