NHC HealthCare Moulton in Moulton, Alabama is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to support nursing leadership, clinical operations, partner development, and high‑quality patient and resident care.

This full‑time role offers a $10,000 sign‑on bonus and a negotiable schedule. The ADON will oversee nursing services, support staff development, monitor performance, and ensure regulatory compliance while collaborating with physicians, families, and the interdisciplinary team.

Qualificações

• RN license valid in Alabama or compact license
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Prior nursing leadership/long‑term care experience preferred
• Strong clinical judgment, leadership, communication, and organizational skills

Responsabilidades

• Assist the Director of Nursing with oversight of nursing services and daily clinical operations.
• Support nursing staff supervision, coaching, education, competencies, and performance.
• Help monitor staffing, scheduling, documentation, care planning, and clinical practices.
• Participate in quality assurance, performance improvement, survey readiness, and infection‑prevention activities.
• Assist with reviewing changes in patient and resident condition and ensuring appropriate follow‑up.
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing leaders, interdisciplinary team members, patients, residents, and families.
• Support compliance with applicable regulations, professional standards, and NHC policies.
• Serve as a nursing leadership resource and assist with coverage or on‑call responsibilities as assigned.
