Job summary

NHC HealthCare Moulton is seeking a dedicated Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to support nursing leadership, clinical operations, and high-quality patient and resident care. This full-time opportunity includes a $10,000 sign-on bonus and pay depends on experience.

The ADON will collaborate with the Director of Nursing, supervise staff, participate in quality assurance, and ensure regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

RN license in Alabama or multi-state license that permits practice in Alabama
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
Previous nursing leadership, long-term care, skilled nursing, or rehabilitation experience preferred
Strong clinical judgment and regulatory knowledge

Responsibilities

Assist the Director of Nursing with oversight of nursing services and daily clinical operations
Supervise, coach, educate, and assess nursing staff performance
Monitor staffing, scheduling, documentation, care planning, and clinical practices
Participate in quality assurance, performance improvement, and survey readiness
Collaborate with physicians, nursing leaders, interdisciplinary team, patients, residents, and families
Ensure compliance with regulations, standards, and NHC policies
Provide nursing leadership coverage or on-call as assigned
