Job summary

Mt. Pleasant Health and Rehab is seeking an RN Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to partner with the Director of Nursing, overseeing daily nursing operations, mentoring staff, and maintaining high standards that earned our deficiency-free survey. Join us to lead quality care and team development.

This leadership role requires a current RN license, LTC experience, and management or staff education exposure, with flexible hours to meet staffing needs.

Qualifications

• Current RN license required.
• Experience in Long-Term Care preferred.
• 2 years of management experience preferred.
• 1 year of staff education experience preferred.
• Excellent communication skills required.
• Flexible hours required.

Responsibilities

• Meet the nursing needs of all residents.
• Coordinate infection control.
• Educate staff.
• Assist with compliance and ensure effective communication with all levels of nursing staff.
• Coordinate and direct the total planning for nursing services.
• Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of general nursing theory and practice.
• Responsible for the accurate and timely completion of medical records.
• Assist with interviewing, hiring, and orienting new nursing staff.
• Oversee the daily staffing process.
• Maintain flexibility with work schedule to address unpredictable needs.
