KingRecruitingServices is assisting a premier nonprofit skilled nursing facility in Connecticut to hire an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON). Reporting to the Director of Nursing, you will help plan and direct daily nursing operations while ensuring regulatory compliance.

You will lead charge nurses and supervisors, oversee budgeting, staffing, training, and QA initiatives, and partner with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to promote residents' well-being and safe, high-quality care.

Qualificações

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (ADN or BSN).
• Current RN license in Connecticut; CPR certification.
• Minimum of two years of nursing supervisory/leadership experience in a skilled facility, hospital, or related setting.
• Minimum of six months of restorative nursing experience.
• In-depth knowledge of long-term care regulations and CMS Requirements of Participation.
• Ability to perform clinical rounds and provide independent clinical judgment.

Responsabilidades

• Assist the Director of Nursing in planning, developing, organizing, implementing, evaluating, and directing the day-to-day operations of the nursing department in compliance with standards.
• Provide leadership to Charge Nurses and Nurse Supervisors; train staff and delegate authority.
• Conduct daily rounds monitoring care delivery, medication passes, treatment protocols, and infection control.
• Participate in resident assessments and lead the development of person-centered care plans.
• Assist with staffing, scheduling, and posting daily staffing information.
• Support recruitment, orientation, licensure verification, and performance evaluations of nursing personnel.
• Coordinate care continuity with physicians, consultants, government agencies, and interdisciplinary teams.
• Lead and support the facility's QAPI program and assist with surveys and corrective plans.
• Oversee medication administration and report any errors to leadership.
• Assist with departmental budgeting and resource planning.
• Partner with Staff Development to plan in-service training.
