The Laurels of Salisbury is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to support the Director of Nursing and help plan, coordinate and manage the nursing department. Infection prevention responsibilities and staff orientation may be part of the role.

Qualifications

• RN with management or supervisor experience in long-term care or geriatric nursing.
• Skilled Nursing Facility and LTC experience REQUIRED*

Responsibilities

• Verify current licensure and credentials of nursing employees.
• Assist with scheduling and guest rounds to monitor quality of nursing care.
• Maintain charting and documentation of care and medications.
• Develop and implement staffing plans and nursing schedules.
• Participate in budget process and manage nursing supplies and staffing budgets.
• Maintain knowledge of managed care, Medicare and Medicaid regulations.
• Assign responsibilities to associates ensuring guest safety.
