The Laurels of Dekalb is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to assist the Director of Nursing in planning, coordinating, and managing the nursing department. You will also oversee infection prevention measures and help ensure the highest level of care for residents.

Qualifications

• Registered nurse with management or supervisor experience in long-term care or geriatric nursing.

Responsabilités

• Verify current licensure and credentials of nursing staff.
• Assist scheduling and perform guest rounds to monitor nursing care quality.
• Maintain proper charting and documentation of care, medications, and treatments.
• Develop and implement staffing plans and nursing schedules per guest needs.
• Participate in facility budget and help manage nursing supply, equipment, and staffing budgets.
• Stay current on managed care, Medicare/Medicaid regulations, and reimbursement systems.
