Job summary

CHR Consulting Services, Inc. is seeking an RN Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) and Infection Control to provide leadership to the nursing team and oversee the infection control program within a long-term care facility.

This role supports the DON and ensures policy adherence while driving staff development. The ideal candidate will have an RN license, at least 1 year of nursing experience, and familiarity with long-term care regulations.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience as a Registered Nurse.
• Associate's Degree in Nursing required.
• Must know Long Term Care.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and direction to the nursing team and oversee the infection control program.
• Assist DON with administrative duties and serve as backup when the DON is not in the building.
• Educate and manage personnel on infection control policies and procedures.
• Lead Infection Control Committee and conduct routine meetings.
• Promote staff morale and encourage cooperation and participation.
• Attend outside training to support professional growth.
