Job summary

Mortenson is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to partner with the Project Manager from bid preparation through final client acceptance. You will lead, coach, and mentor project team members to drive successful project outcomes.

The role requires coordinating scopes, managing budgets, and overseeing subcontractors while ensuring safety and on-time delivery. A strong background in construction management and five years of experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in construction related field.
• Five years of related experience preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Detail oriented and able to manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Perform cost control and financial management.
• Coordinate scopes of work with project team.
• Review and compile pay applications, change requests, and other financial docs.
• Draft client proposals and manage subcontractor awards.
• Provide direction to project team and mentor others.
• Lead meetings and coordinate subcontractors for project.
• Ensure timely project completion and safety compliance.
