Job summary

Mortenson is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to partner with the Project Manager from bid preparation through final client acceptance. You will lead, coach, and mentor project team members while overseeing cost control, scheduling, and contract administration.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience, 5+ years of related work, and willingness to travel. Eligible for Mortenson’s incentive plan and benefits follow.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
• Must have strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Proven ability to assist with complex projects and communicate Mortenson policies.

Responsibilities

• Perform cost control and financial management.
• Coordinate scopes of work with Preconstruction on estimates and schedules.
• Review and compile pay applications, change requests, and other financial docs to support project tracking.
• Partner with Project Manager or Construction Executive for project leadership.
• Draft client proposals and manage contract administration and subcontracts.
