Job summary

Patterson-UTI Drilling Company, LLC is seeking a rig crew member to support on-site operations on a 14 days on/14 days off rotation. You will perform lifting, rig-up/rig-down tasks, and routine maintenance while adhering to strict PPE protocols.

You must have a basic work history, ability to read and speak English, and be comfortable working outdoors in varying weather. The role requires teamwork and a strong safety mindset for daily drilling operations.

Qualifications

• Six months of stable work history or more.
• Ability to read, write and speak English clearly.
• Must be safety-conscious and able to follow instructions.
• Willingness to travel to remote locations on a 14 days on/14 days off rotation.

Responsibilities

• Lift and place slips weighing ~150 pounds with another person.
• General housekeeping of the rig and drilling floor (sweeping, cleaning, painting).
• Handle drill pipe sections with iron roughneck, slips, and tongs.
• Assist in rig moves and rig-up/rig-down operations.
• Check equipment and safety issues regularly.
• Inspect, slip, and cut drilling line.
• Hook up and tear out flare and degasser lines.
• Assist with maintenance of pumps, shakers, mud pits.
• Wear PPE at all designated times and maintain PPE.
