Job summary

Patterson-UTI Drilling Company, LLC is seeking a rig hand to support heavy drilling operations. You will assist with rig moves, connect and detach drill pipe, and perform general housekeeping on the rig and drilling floor.

This position emphasizes safety and adherence to PPE requirements. You must be able to lift up to 50 pounds alone, work 12.5 hour shifts in a 14/14 rotation, and travel to remote locations as required.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 1 year of related work history (farming, ranching, construction, heavy equipment, or military service).
• Ability to read, write and speak English fluently; strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform housekeeping duties on the rig and drilling floor.
• Assist in rig moves and assembling equipment; operate hand tools and connect drill pipe.
• Wear PPE and follow safety procedures at all times; report safety issues.
