Job summary

Patterson-UTI Drilling Company, LLC seeks a Rig Manager to lead daily rig operations and supervise crew, ensuring safety and efficiency. The role directs drilling activities, rig moves, and equipment maintenance while coordinating with customers and third parties.

The successful candidate will enforce safety standards, manage resources, and drive performance in a rotational 14-on/14-off schedule with 12.5-hour shifts, including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of drilling experience as a Driller.
• 1+ years as Rig Manager with PTEN experience.
• Certifications in Well Control, CPR/First Aid, H2S Safety Training.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to ensure safety of all onsite personnel and incident-free operations.
• Supervise and train drilling rig crew and enforce safety/operational procedures.
• Manage rig operations, production, maintenance, costs and personnel to meet objectives.
• Inspect rig and equipment and drive continuous improvement.
• Coordinate with Customer representatives and ensure effective communication.
