Job summary

Jackson seeks an RIA External Consultant to expand the Independent Registered Investment Adviser channel across WA, OR (Portland), ID, MT, WY. You will meet advisers, conduct seminars, run campaigns, and follow up to grow Jackson's territory.

You will stay current on Jackson product and platform enhancements and collaborate with internal teams. The role requires independent work, strong presentation skills, and travel up to 25%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• 3+ years of sales experience in investments, mutual funds, insurance, or annuities required; 5+ years preferred.
• FINRA SIE, Series 6 or 7, Series 63, and State Insurance License required.
• Registrations as necessary due to regulatory changes.

Responsibilities

• Develops an appropriate business plan to maximize territorial sales.
• Delivers product and sales training through seminars, workshops, and meetings.
• Manages resources, budget, and expenses to optimize territory sales.
• Identifies and nurtures leads from referrals, campaigns, and canvassing; follows up on meetings.
• Maintains adviser profiles and sales activity in Jackson databases.
• Uses CRM to coordinate with internal partners.
• Spends up to 25% of time in the field for video meetings and adviser engagements.
