Job summary

Jackson is seeking an RIA External Consultant to build and manage relationships within the Independent Registered Investment Adviser channel across TN, AR, LA, AL, MS. The role includes presentations, campaigns, seminars, and ongoing advisement on Jackson products and platform enhancements.

The position requires a Bachelor’s degree, 3+ years of sales in investments (5+ preferred), FINRA licenses, and a willingness to travel up to 25% in a hybrid work setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; 3+ years sales experience in investments, mutual funds, insurance, or annuities; 5+ years preferred.
• FINRA SIE, FINRA Series 6/7, FINRA Series 63 and State Insurance License required.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% and operate in a hybrid role.

Responsibilities

• Develop a business plan with the VP, RIA Sales to maximize territorial sales.
• Conduct product and sales training via sessions, seminars, workshops, and branch meetings.
• Plan and manage resource deployment to maximize territory sales while handling budget and expenses.
• Collaborate with Internal Wholesaler to identify leads and follow up on referrals and canvassing.
• Maintain adviser profiles and data on sales activity in Jackson databases.
• Use CRM to coordinate with internal partners.
• Engage in a hybrid wholesaling approach with field time and virtual meetings.
