Job summary

Jackson seeks an RIA External Consultant to grow the Independent Registered Investment Adviser channel across KY, WV, IL (S), IN (S), OH (S), PA (W), VA (W). You will manage relationships, deliver training, and execute a territory plan with 25% field time and extensive virtual engagement.

Base pay starts at $70,000 with eligibility for annual bonuses and additional compensation based on sales. A strong regulatory background and ongoing certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• 3+ years of sales experience in investments, mutual funds, insurance, or annuities.
• 5+ years of experience preferred.
• FINRA SIE, FINRA Series 6 or 7, FINRA Series 63, State Insurance License required.
• Pursuit of CFA/ CFP/ CIMA or similar advanced degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develops a business plan to maximize territorial sales.
• Conducts product and sales training for advisers and groups.
• Manages resources, budget and expenses for the territory.
• Fosters leads with an Internal Wholesaler from referrals, campaigns, and canvassing.
• Maintains adviser profiles and sales activity data in Jackson databases and CRM.
• Travels up to 25% and uses hybrid/virtual channels to engage advisers.
