Job summary

The Jackson National Life Insurance Company is seeking an RIA External Consultant to grow the independent adviser channel in the Portland area and broader territory. You will meet advisers, run seminars, campaigns and follow ups, and keep them informed about Jackson product and platform enhancements.

This role blends field work with virtual engagements. You will partner with an Internal Wholesaler to generate leads, manage a territory, and deliver effective presentations while maintaining

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; 3+ years in sales investments/annuities preferred.
• Experience with RIAs and external wholesaling is a plus.
• FINRA licenses and registrations as applicable are expected.

Responsibilities

• Develops business plans to maximize territorial sales.
• Conducts product and sales training sessions and campaigns.
• Plans resource deployment, budget and expense management.
• Works with Internal Wholesaler to nurture leads and referrals.
• Maintains adviser data in Jackson databases and communicates via CRM.
• Engages advisers through field visits, video meetings, calls and emails.
• Performs additional duties as assigned.
