Job summary

Jackson is seeking an RIA External Consultant to grow the Independent Registered Investment Adviser channel across WA, OR, ID, MT, WY. You will build relationships, conduct trainings, and manage campaigns to boost territory sales.

The role requires strong presentation and prospecting skills, ability to travel up to 25%, and familiarity with Jackson products and RIA platform capabilities. Base pay and bonus programs apply.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• 3+ years of sales experience in investments, mutual funds, insurance, or annuities recommended; 5+ years preferred.
• FINRA SIE, Series 6 or 7, Series 63, and State Insurance License required.
• Pursuit or possession of industry designations (CFA/CFP/CIMA) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develops a business plan with VP, RIA Sales to maximize territorial sales.
• Conducts product and sales training through sessions, seminars, and branch meetings.
• Manages resources, budget, and expenses to maximize territorial sales.
• Identifies and nurtures leads from referrals, campaigns, and canvassing; follows up on meetings.
• Maintains adviser profiles and sales activity in Jackson databases and uses CRM for internal communication.
• Travels to meet advisers; spends up to 25% in the field and conducts video meetings and traditional outreach.
