Job summary

Jackson seeks a motivated RIA External Consultant to expand our Independent Registered Investment Adviser channel within AZ, UT, and NM. You will cultivate adviser relationships, conduct trainings, and coordinate campaigns to increase Jackson's product and service adoption.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in investments sales, FINRA licensing, and a professional designation in progress. This role blends field activity with virtual meetings and offers bonus opportunities and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree is required.
• 3+ years of sales experience in investments, mutual funds, insurance, or annuities.
• 5+ years of experience preferred.
• Prior annuity or investment external wholesaling experience preferred.
• FINRA SIE, FINRA Series 6 or 7, FINRA Series 63, State Insurance License required.
• Additional registrations as necessary due to regulatory changes.
• Industry designations or advanced degree (CFA, CFP, CIMA, etc.) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develops a business plan with the VP, RIA Sales to maximize territorial sales.
• Delivers product and sales training through individual and group sessions, seminars, and branch meetings.
• Manages deployment of resources to maximize territory sales, including budget and expenses.
• Collaborates with Internal Wholesaler to identify leads from referrals, campaigns, and canvassing; follows up.
• Maintains adviser profiles and sales activity in Jackson databases.
• Communicates with internal partners via CRM system.
• Operates a hybrid wholesaling role, spending up to 25% in the field and via video/virtual meetings.
