Job summary

Jackson is seeking an RIA External Consultant to grow and manage relationships with independent RIAs across a defined territory. The role emphasizes meetings, seminars, campaigns, and follow-up to drive sales and keep advisers informed of product enhancements.

The candidate will train advisers, develop business plans with the VP of RIA Sales, and travel up to 25% while leveraging video and virtual meetings to engage clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; 3+ years in sales of investments, mutual funds, insurance or annuities.
• 5+ years of experience preferred; prior external wholesaling experience is a plus.
• FINRA SIE, Series 6/7, and Series 63 licenses required; state insurance license required.

Responsibilities

• Develops and executes a business plan to maximize territorial sales.
• Delivers product and sales training through sessions, seminars, and meetings.
• Manages resources, budget and expenses to optimize territory performance.
• Utilizes CRM databases to maintain adviser profiles and track sales activity.
• Travels up to 25% and engages advisers via videos, calls, and emails.
