Job summary

Jackson seeks a results-driven RIA External Consultant to grow the Independent Registered Investment Adviser channel across AZ, UT, and NM. You will build relationships through meetings, seminars, and campaigns while keeping advisers informed about Jackson's product enhancements.

This hybrid role requires up to 25% field time and strong presentation and sales planning skills. You will partner with internal wholesalers and use CRM systems to manage adviser data and drive territory growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 3+ years of sales experience in investments, mutual funds, insurance, or annuities required.
• 5+ years of experience preferred.
• Prior annuity or investment external wholesaling experience preferred.
• FINRA SIE, FINRA Series 6 or 7, FINRA Series 63, State Insurance License required.
• Additional registrations as necessary due to changes in regulatory requirements.
• Possesses or is actively pursuing industry designations or advanced degree (CFA, CFP, CIMA, etc.) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develops a business plan with VP, RIA Sales to maximize territorial sales.
• Conducts product and sales training through seminars, workshops, and meetings.
• Plans and manages resource deployment, budget and expenses.
• Identifies and fosters leads with Internal Wholesaler from referrals, campaigns, and canvassing.
• Uses Jackson databases to maintain adviser profiles and sales activity data.
• Uses CRM system to communicate with internal partners.
• Spends up to 25% in the field, conducts video meetings, and engages with Advisors via multiple channels.
