Job summary

argenx is seeking a Territory Business Manager to drive demand and build trusted relationships across Rheumatology in the San Diego, Irvine, and Chula Vista, CA markets. This field-based role emphasizes patient access, data-driven insights, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver business objectives.

You will work with internal and field colleagues, reporting to the Business Leader, and engage healthcare professionals, academic centers, and infusion providers to improve patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of specialty/rare disease/biologics sales experience; Rheumatology experience strongly preferred.
• Proven track record of consistent high sales performance and execution against objectives.
• Experience planning, organizing, and executing territory and account strategies.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate with internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
• Product launch experience preferred.
• Candidates must reside within the assigned market/territory.

Responsibilities

• Travel within assigned geography to engage key stakeholders and support business objectives.
• Develop and execute strategic territory and account plans using customer and market insights.
• Demonstrate Innovation by identifying opportunities and implementing creative solutions.
• Collaborate with regional colleagues and cross-functional partners to achieve shared goals.
• Build and maintain relationships with healthcare professionals, affiliated staff, specialty pharmacy partners, and infusion providers.
• Utilize data, market intelligence and tools to inform decisions and maximize impact.
• Consistently achieve sales objectives with integrity and compliance.
• Submit account plans, customer interactions and CRM activity on time.
• Take ownership of business results and address challenges proactively.
• Listen to customers and patients to improve the treatment journey.
