Acloché LLC is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Rheumatologist for a full-time, on-site position in Rutland, Vermont. You will join an established clinical team offering patient-centered care, strong administrative support, and a collaborative environment with primary care and specialty colleagues.

The role emphasizes evidence-based evaluation and management of complex rheumatic and autoimmune conditions, with DMARDs, biologics and injections as part of comprehensive care.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school
• ACGME-accredited Internal Medicine residency
• ACGME-accredited Rheumatology fellowship
• Active, unrestricted license to practice medicine in Vermont (or eligible to obtain before start date)
• Board certification or board eligibility in Internal Medicine and Rheumatology; DEA registration must be active

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with rheumatic, autoimmune, inflammatory and musculoskeletal disorders according to evidence-based care
• Obtain histories, perform exams, assess disease activity and treatment response
• Order and interpret labs, imaging, and bone health assessments to guide decisions
• Develop individualized treatment plans including DMARDs, biologics, corticosteroids and immunomodulatory therapies
• Perform routine rheumatology procedures and joint injections as indicated
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment options, risks and self-management
• Maintain thorough EMR documentation compliant with guidelines
• Collaborate with primary care, specialty physicians, nursing and rehab staff for coordinated care
• Participate in clinical protocol development, meetings, reviews and credentialing
