Job summary

Food Management Search, Inc. is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Rheumatologist to join an established outpatient specialty clinic in Rutland, Vermont.

This full-time role offers clinical autonomy with robust administrative support and a culture of multidisciplinary collaboration. The ideal candidate will have an MD/DO with completed Internal Medicine residency and Rheumatology fellowship, Vermont licensure or eligibility, and proficiency with EMR systems.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• ACGME-accredited Internal Medicine residency.
• ACGME-accredited Rheumatology fellowship.
• Active Vermont medical license or eligibility before start date.
• Board certification or board eligibility in Internal Medicine and Rheumatology.
• DEA registration is active.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat a wide spectrum of rheumatic and musculoskeletal disorders.
• Obtain histories, perform exams, and assess disease activity and treatment response.
• Order and interpret labs, imaging, and bone health assessments.
• Develop individualized treatment plans including DMARDs and biologics.
• Perform routine office procedures such as joint injections.
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses and self-management.
• Maintain accurate EMR documentation and coordinate care with teams.
• Participate in protocol development and departmental initiatives.
