Job summary

KingRecruitingServices is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Rheumatologist to join an established clinical team in Rutland, Vermont. This on-site role offers a comprehensive benefits package, strong administrative support, and a collaborative multidisciplinary environment.

Qualifications include MD/DO with Internal Medicine residency and Rheumatology fellowship, Vermont licensure or eligibility, and experience in outpatient rheumatology with ultrasound skills preferred.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Completion of ACGME Internal Medicine residency and Rheumatology fellowship.
• Active, unrestricted Vermont medical license or eligibility.
• Board certification or active board eligibility in Internal Medicine and Rheumatology; DEA registration.
• Outpatient specialty practice experience and ultrasound skills are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat a wide spectrum of rheumatic, autoimmune, inflammatory, and musculoskeletal disorders.
• Obtain histories, perform exams, assess disease activity and treatment response.
• Order and interpret labs and imaging to guide decisions.
• Develop individualized treatment plans including DMARDs, biologics, and other therapies.
• Perform office-based procedures such as joint injections and aspirations.
• Educate patients and families on chronic disease management and treatment options.
• Maintain EMR documentation in compliance with guidelines.
• Collaborate with primary care and specialty teams for coordinated care.
• Participate in clinical protocol development and departmental initiatives.
